Antique ivory piquè gold earrings

Piquè is the old (and lost !) art of inlay small gold points on the tortoiseshell and ivory. This art started in Naples in the 18th century. Here we have a very long pair of antique earrings in ivory covered by a decoration of gold piquè points. On the top we see an embossed gold element and Down a gold point. Very elegant to wear. Some of the piquè points are in two colors gold. From Naples end of the 19th century. 14K Gold (touchstone tested) They are in perfect condition.
