Piquè is the old (and lost !) art of inlay small gold points on the tortoiseshell and ivory. This art started in Naples in the 18th century. Here we have a very nice pair of antique long earrings very light in gold and tortoiseshell full of gold points inlaid in the tortoiseshell that make a beautiful design. It is a magnificent pair of earrings very wearable. End of the 19th century from Naples. 14K gold (touchstone tested). They are in perfect condition.
