Small natural pearls was fished in the east mediterranean coasts and used in Sicily also for jewellery since Middle Age. Here we have a stunning pair of antique earrings beginning of XIX century with all-round big drop in gold with hundreds of small natural pearls. The top is a round pearls element. Well preserved since long time they are in very good conditions. An old hallmark is on the hooks. 14 K gold (touchstone tsted). From Sicily. Beginning of XIX century.
