An unusual nice pair of antique pearls gold earrings with one round element on the top and another on the bottom. In the center a "pavè" of small pearls. A very detailed antique goldsmith hand-work. From Sicily half of 19th century. 14K Gold (touchstone tested). An old hallmark is visible on the hooks. Perfect conditions. Small natural pearls was fished by Sicilians in the east mediterranean coasts and used also for jewellery since the Middle Age.
