An impressive pair of antique earrings from Sicily full of small natural pearls. They shape two drops (Top and Down) with inside very small pearls. All mounted in 14K gold they have a nice movement and are well wearable. Look the perfect antique goldsmith work.
Well preserved despite the age they are in perfect condition. End of the 19th century from a family heritage in Palermo (Sicily). 14K gold (touchstone tested). The goldsmith's hallmark is on the hooks. Small natural pearls was fished by Sicilians in the east mediterranean coasts and used also for jewellery since the Middle Age.
